Mountain
The yin / yang symbol is ancient, first appearing in Chinese
historical documents nearly three thousand years ago.
The
original meaning of these two basic qualities is said by some
to have come from the dark (yin) shady side of a mountain
and the light (yang) sunlit side of a mountain.
